Purpose of Position

The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor manages the full life-cycle recruiting process for assigned client groups while cultivating a strong employment brand and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The  Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor develops and executes robust recruiting strategies targeting active and passive candidates while regularly communicating with clients on process, status and feedback of all candidates. The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor maintains complete and accurate record-keeping details in compliance with federal and state requirements. The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a critical role in ensuring the attraction and hiring of the best possible talent to meet business needs.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Be a Trusted Business Partner: Manage an efficient and effective full-life cycle recruitment process, including: consulting with hiring managers to understand position needs, sourcing candidates, qualifying applicants, conducting phone screens, presenting qualified candidates and providing consultative advise to hiring teams on interviewing and hiring recommendations. Employ a strategic mindset to advise the business on optimizing talent for both short and longer term needs.  Understand the business and operational objectives in order to recommend effective talent solutions.
  • Find Talent: Develop and execute against sourcing strategies to to fill key positions for EJM. Engage in active and creative recruitment sourcing strategies versus reliance on traditional online candidate job boards. Strategies may include but are not limited to: social media networking (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), developing relationships with education institutions, professional organizations and military transition assistance groups. Attends trade shows, career fairs, industry events. Maintains a good understanding of market conditions and best practices to match changing needs of internal and external customers. Utilizes applicant tracking systems to measure and report the status and success of recruiting initiatives. Develop service level agreements with client groups and hiring managers and conduct regular follow up meetings to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation, candidate quality, hiring manager satisfaction. Reviews and analyzes recruiting metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruiting efforts. 
  • Represent the EJM BrandAssists in continuous improvement initiatives that innovate talent acquisition. Identifies opportunities to  simplify and standardize talent acquisitions processes and procedures. Fulfills compliance requirements of recruiting for EEO and all other applicable state and federal laws. Adapts to the changing needs of the business. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change due to operational needs.

  • 6-8 years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communication or Sales.
  • Proven track record of attracting successful talent at all levels in the organization. 
  • Proven advisor to hiring managers regarding recruitment plans and execution, candidate assessment and hiring, and market intelligence.
  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing strategies and tools targeting both active and passive candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition technology (ATS, social, mobile, etc) and trends.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent project management skills to include managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles, proactively manage expectations and relationships, provide innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Strong sense of urgency and continual drive for process improvement.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office products).
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Knowledge of Part 91 and 135 Federal Air Regulations is highly preferred.

Base Salary Range

$83,000 - $193,000
