Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition

As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be at the heart of how we search for, attract, identify, and hire exceptional talent that turns our ambition into reality.

As a Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading Talent Acquisition activities across Europe and, at times, globally. You will manage end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns, identifying, selecting, and hiring talent in highly competitive technical markets. You will work closely with hiring managers, HC colleagues, and candidates to ensure an outstanding experience for all stakeholders.

Your work will have a direct impact on the growth of the business. You will design and own talent sourcing strategies for high‑growth areas, enabling the organization to scale at pace. You will manage multiple recruitments simultaneously—some within Agile methodologies—while partnering with diverse stakeholders. You will also specialize in a key technical area (e.g., cybersecurity, software, cloud, or leadership recruitment), bringing market intelligence, data insights, and competitor analysis to support informed hiring decisions. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will represent SES at targeted talent attraction events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design strategic recruitment processes and talent strategies for key technical areas, leveraging your international experience
  • Own priority and complex hires by running Agile sprint recruitment processes and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Lead and evolve early‑talent initiatives, including internship and graduate programs, with end‑to‑end ownership from workforce planning and university engagement through recruitment, onboarding, and program delivery
  • Manage multiple international recruitment projects, influencing strategic decisions on team building in highly competitive markets
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to understand current and future workforce needs and develop recruitment plans for high‑growth areas
  • Provide real‑time market data and insights to support the company’s positioning of competitive compensation and attraction packages by skillset and location
  • Deliver full‑cycle technical recruitment by managing open requisitions end to end, including intake meetings, job advertisement creation and posting, proactive and diverse sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and contract delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, colleagues, and business leaders, using data intelligence to enable informed, data‑driven hiring decisions
  • Act as an ambassador for the SES brand and culture, proactively promoting opportunities and positioning SES as an employer of choice
  • Serve as a trusted adviser to technical business functions by understanding both current and long‑term skill requirements, constructively challenging the status quo and creating bespoke hiring strategies for complex roles
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, recognizing it as the most critical component of effective talent acquisition
  • Support other HC functions as a trusted point of contact by providing market insights, guidance, and recommendations for process improvements
  • Recommend and participate in talent attraction events, including job fairs, university engagements, and interactions with professional associations
  • Lead employer‑branding initiatives across Europe, owning projects end to end—from event selection and participation to building and maintaining strategic partnerships
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of global organizational operations, local market dynamics, and the role Talent Acquisition plays in achieving strategic objectives

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrate a strong track record as a senior‑level technical global recruiter or head‑hunter, supporting multiple business functions and contributing to hiring strategies across one or more STEM domains
  • Bring a minimum of 7 years’ experience in technical recruitment within the technology industry, with proven success in managing up to 15 technical roles in parallel
  • Show a proven ability to lead end‑to‑end executive search and selection for Director, Head‑of, and C‑suite roles across technical and corporate functions
  • Exhibit advanced expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Demonstrate experience in creating impactful employer‑brand partnerships and successfully leveraging events to accelerate recruitment outcomes
