We believe firmly in providing a positive candidate experience, which means recruiters communicate with candidates every step of the way and offer constructive feedback when needed. You will drive all aspects of each opening from sourcing through to offer acceptance.

This position will hold 20-25 key emerging positions that support our Commercial business lines.   It also uses effective marketing and sales orientation to source, identify and qualify key talent pools for our Commercial Banking business lines with the required skills and competencies to meet business unit objectives.  Builds and maintains relationships with senior and executive level management of the organization up to and including Executive Vice-Presidents.  In addition, the incumbent is expected to develop strong relationships with candidate pools, creating viable pipelines of talent for current and future openings and utilize strong value propositions to attract talent.  Build and present fact-based and compelling business cases in support of hiring decisions, initiatives, or resources. Key areas of focus are as follows:

Engagement:   When starting a job search with a hiring manager, it is important that the recruiter establish a consultative relationship, investigate the job requirements, conduct research on the business unit, and set realistic expectations regarding the process. 

Building the Candidate Pool:   Work with Social Media tools to design a targeted and detailed sourcing strategy to create a strong candidate slate. 

Qualifying:  Evaluate and assess the candidate’s suitability against the job specifications and other key requirements. 

Offer Negotiation:  Gather and provide data to assist the hiring manager in making a hiring decision.  Negotiate with candidate and manager to ensure solid offer and combat counter offers. 

Required competencies:

  • Assess candidates' skills and qualifications through comprehensive interviewing and assessments
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies for critical and emerging skills
  • Demonstrate skills needed to create a slate of candidates from a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Ability to understand the needs and preferences of candidates, hiring managers, and teammates
  • Experience personalizing and prioritizing the candidate experience
  • Understanding the importance of alignment with organization’s goals, strategy, and vision
  • Ability to lead with confidence and draw insights from data and use the data to advise the business

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ of full-cycle recruiting experience working in a fast-paced environment (preferable in Business or Commercial Banking)
  • Experience utilizing a variety of recruiting resources including ATS, research, cold-calling, internal searches, social media, and networking
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to grow professionally through networking and continuous learning

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week:  40
  • Work Schedule: M- F
