We have an opportunity for a Senior People Operations Advisor, to join our People & Culture team. This is a fixed term role, full time, for a period of 12 months and can be based from our Perth or Sydney office.
Reporting to the People Operations Lead, this role will be central in providing support with a complex range of HR operations. Our team are strong collaborators and genuinely friendly who aim to produce quality work. We are seeking someone who is like-minded, highly organised, strong attention to detail and strong in building internal relationships.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage complex employee lifecycle processes whilst ensuring compliance, consistency and high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate complex operations such as onboarding of senior-level hires, international transfers, nonstandard arrangements, and sensitive exits.
- Support leaders with mobility across the APAC region including support with visas, sponsorship, and right to work compliance across the APAC region
- Interprets industry awards, legislation, and internal policies to provide accurate and timely advice to managers and employees.
- Contributes to policy development and updates, ensuring alignment with legislation.
- Advises on complex benefits queries, including parental leave, long service leave, and region-specific entitlements.
- Develops reliable, trusted relationships with managers and internal stakeholders, providing timely, accurate, and solutions focused advice.
- Acts as an escalation point for the People Operations team and for complex employee queries.
Skills and Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in People Operations, HR, or a related field with a relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, award interpretation, and compliance requirements across APAC region
- Advanced understanding of HR systems (Workday experience highly regarded)
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Highly organised, self‑directed, and able to manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated capability in optimising process and operational problem solving
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and service excellence
