THE BUSINESS UNIT

The Process Automation Business focuses on advanced process control software and outcome-based solutions, as well as enterprise performance management, to enhance operational efficiency and drive business success.

As the HR Leader for the Process Automation (PA) Americas region at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing people strategies that enable business growth and productivity. Partnering closely with SBG and PA Americas regional leadership, you will lead the development and deployment of HR initiatives that align talent, organization design, and workforce capabilities to the region’s strategic objectives.

A key focus of this role is accelerating growth. You will design and implement forward-looking talent strategies that build critical capabilities, strengthen succession, and ensure the organization is positioned to scale. Through strong partnership with business leaders, you will help drive transformation, enhance organizational effectiveness, and foster a culture of performance and accountability.

You will have a direct impact on business outcomes by leading organization design, workforce planning, and end‑to‑end talent strategies, while serving as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders.

This role reports to the Vice President of Human Resources, Process Automation, and supports executive leaders and their leadership teams across the Americas.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure organizational structures, roles, and skill sets are aligned with long‑term business strategies, while enabling meaningful career growth and development for employees
  • Develop and execute workforce strategies aligned with HR priorities to deliver measurable business results
  • Assess and actively manage labor cost, productivity, and efficiency; own OEF and census planning for AOP and STRAP
  • Partner with Global Business, Regional HR leaders and HR COE’s to ensure consistent execution and alignment with business strategies
  • Design and deliver innovative talent solutions to attract, develop, retain, and deploy critical talent in support of growth objectives
  • Build scalable organizational capabilities and strengthen PA’s commercial and functional teams through proactive talent and succession practices
  • Influence and coach leaders by providing candid, unbiased guidance, feedback, and insight to support individual and organizational effectiveness


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 15+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR business partnering and employee relations
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources or a related field
  • Master’s degree in human resources or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability in setting strategy, driving performance, consistently producing superior results, cultivating ownership while enforcing company policies and applicable law.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to artfully influence, persuade and drive action. A collaborative management style
  • Proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally with senior levels in the organization
  • Comfortable as a "hands-on" and willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgement
  • Experience in talent acquisition and talent management
