Role Summary and Impact
The Senior Executive, People Operations is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payroll processing and supporting HR operational activities. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll, compliance with statutory regulations, and efficient handling of employee lifecycle transactions. The position plays a key role in maintaining data integrity and delivering a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salary, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Validate payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, claims, and leave balances.
- Ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws.
- Liaise with Finance for payroll funding, accounting entries, and reconciliations.
HR Operations:
- Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, changes in employment status, offboarding, etc.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
- Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, letters of confirmation, transfer letters, and termination notices.
- Ensure HR data accuracy and confidentiality.
Compliance & Audits:
- Ensure payroll and HR practices comply with labour laws and internal policies.
- Support audits (internal and external) by preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate and analyze HR and payroll reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, cost summaries).
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to HR leadership as required.
Employee Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
- Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives from an administrative perspective.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and recommend improvements to payroll and HR operations processes.
- Assist in HRIS upgrades or implementation projects.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll and HR operations, preferably in a multinational or large local company.
- Strong knowledge of local labour laws and payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
