Job Description

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a senior behavioral scientist for conduct & culture, providing expert guidance in the diagnosis, intervention, and measurement of the bank's risk culture. The incumbent will apply an evidence-based, scientific approach to identify the behavioral drivers of misconduct and non-financial risk. This will include design, implement, and evaluate targeted interventions to foster a culture of ethical conduct, prudent risk-taking, and psychological safety across the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the bank meets and exceeds the cultural expectations set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and aligns with global best practices in conduct risk management.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Behavioral Insight: Internal assessments (surveys, interviews, focus groups) and external research to diagnose root causes of behavior gaps.
  • Intervention Design: Develop and test behavioral interventions (nudges, Randomized Controlled Trails, structural changes) and evaluate impact.
  • Measurement & Analytics: Create frameworks and dashboards, apply statistical modeling, regression, causal inference, and predictive analytics.
  • Capability Building: Conduct workshops and training, embed behavioral thinking in policies and processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HR, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, and external research providers; present findings to senior leadership and regulators.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s or PhD in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, or related fields.

  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral interventions.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
