 Position Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead and harmonize human resources operations across all of our European entities. This pivotal role involves partnering with Management, Legal, Corporate HR, and other functions as needed in coordinating the efforts of HR teams across Europe to ensure consistent HR practices, compliance with local labor laws, and alignment with global HR strategies As such, it is expected that this position will travel regularly and be available to meet virtually across multiple time zones The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of European employment regulations and a proven track record in managing cross-border HR functions. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with EU Management in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster a cohesive organizational culture across all European sites. 

  • Regional HR Oversight: Supervise and support HR teams in all of our European offices (Ireland, the UK, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, Luxembourg, etc.) ensuring effective delivery of HR services and initiatives.   

  • Compliance and Policy Management: Partner with Legal in ensuring all HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and regulations. Regularly review and update policies to reflect legal changes and best practices. 

  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent across the region. Implement effective onboarding programs. 

  • Performance Management: Lead the deployment of performance appraisal systems to drive employee engagement and productivity. Deploy and support the Peak Performance platform to facilitate continuous feedback, goal alignment, and performance tracking. 

  • Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment. Provide guidance to HR teams on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. 

  • Learning and Development: Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression. 

  • Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with finance and global HR to design competitive compensation structures and benefits programs that comply with local standards. 

  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize HR analytics to monitor key performance indicators, inform decision-making, and report on HR activities to senior leadership. 

 

Preferred Job Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is preferred. 

  • Experience: 5+ years in human resources (or related field) preferred, with 3+ years of management experienceExperience overseeing multi-site (or multi-country) HR operations within Europe is a plus. 

  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of European labor laws and HR best practices. Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is ; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
