Bella & Bona is a venture-capital-backed food-tech company offering a workplace food program that employees enjoy every day.
We are growing fast across multiple cities and teams - from kitchens and logistics to sales, tech, and marketing. To support this growth, we are looking for a Recruiting & People Operations Manager who is extremely hands-on and passionate about building great teams.
This role combines active recruiting execution with core HR operations. You will own the end-to-end hiring process while ensuring smooth onboarding and people processes across the company.
Your mission
Recruiting (Core Focus)- Actively advertise open positions across relevant channels for:
- Operational roles (kitchen team, drivers, logistics)
- Central roles (Sales, Finance, Tech, Marketing, Operations)
- Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn and other platforms (e.g. Facebook groups, communities)
- Build relationships with universities and establish partnerships:
- Attend career fairs
- Organize school events
- Promote Bella & Bona to top-tier students
- Represent Bella & Bona at career fairs and recruiting events
- Screen applications and conduct first-round interviews
- Coordinate the full hiring process with hiring managers (interviews, feedback loops, offers)
- Own candidate experience end-to-end, from first contact to signed contract
- Continuously improve recruiting funnels and conversion rates
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle- Prepare and send employment contracts
- Organize structured onboarding for every new hire
- Run employee check-ins at:
- 3 months
- 6 months
- 12 months
- Maintain and continuously improve recruiting and HR processes at scale using:
- Personio
- AI-supported workflows and automation
- Ensure all employee data and documentation are properly maintained
- Act as a first point of contact for people-related operational topics
Process & Scale- Build simple, scalable recruiting workflows as the company grows
- Track hiring KPIs (time-to-hire, funnel performance, sourcing effectiveness)
- Continuously optimize tools, templates, and processes to support fast hiring across cities and teams
- Partner closely with leadership and hiring managers on workforce planning
Your profile
- Experience in Recruiting, HR, People Operations, or a comparable hands-on role
- Strong execution mindset - you enjoy doing, not just coordinating
- Comfortable recruiting for both operational and office roles
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Structured, reliable, and highly organized working style
- Proactive and resourceful in sourcing candidates
- Confident managing multiple hiring processes in parallel
- Experience with HR tools (Personio is a plus)
- Interest in using AI to improve recruiting efficiency and scale
- English required, German is a strong plus
