About Cassidy
Cassidy is a context-powered AI automation platform. Non-technical teams use Cassidy to build and deploy AI-driven workflows that automate the work only their company does, from RFPs to sales enablement to customer support.
We believe the future of automation isn’t code-heavy tools owned by IT, but empowering the people closest to the work to build AI that understands their company’s unique processes and knowledge.
We recently raised our Series A and are entering a stage of rapid growth. It’s a great time to join: the team is small, the impact is outsized, and every hire will shape the culture, product, and trajectory of the company.
📍 This role is based in our NYC office, 5 days a week.
The Role
We’re looking for a Recruiter & People Ops Manager to help scale Cassidy’s team and culture. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting across all functions while also building foundational people operations - onboarding, benefits, employee experience, and compliance. This is a hands-on, in-person role where you’ll shape both who we hire and how we work together.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting
Own full-cycle recruiting across GTM, Product, Engineering, and G&A roles
Build and manage candidate pipelines through sourcing, referrals, and outreach
Design structured interview processes, scorecards, and rubrics
Partner with founders on headcount planning, compensation ranges, and offer strategy
Drive a candidate experience that reflects Cassidy’s brand and culture
People Operations
Own onboarding: tools access, first-week experience, and cultural ramp
Manage employee benefits, perks, and policy administration
Partner with finance on payroll coordination and compliance items
Set up and maintain people systems (ATS, HRIS, performance tracking)
Support managers with performance feedback processes and employee development
Drive culture initiatives: events, recognition, surveys, internal comms
What You (Ideally) Have
1-4+ years of combined recruiting and HR/people ops experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
Track record closing both GTM and technical roles
Comfort setting up recruiting and HR processes from scratch
Knowledge of ATS and HR tools (Greenhouse/Lever, Gusto, Rippling, Deel, etc.)
Clear, direct written communication and strong organizational skills
High judgment and discretion with sensitive information
Nice to Have
Experience as the first people/talent hire at an early-stage startup
Familiarity with NYC talent and HR market practices
Exposure to scaling Series A–B companies
How We Work
In-person collaboration in our NYC office
Fast feedback loops and direct communication
Every new hire builds an AI automation in week one
Compensation
Competitive salary and meaningful equity
Full benefits, 401(k), and perks that support high performance
