Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's Corporate Relations Department is looking for a Project Manager to join its team!
 

The Project Manager – Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for leading and coordinating strategic projects within Corporate Relations, ensuring their end-to-end definition, structuring, and execution.

 

The role combines strategic vision with operational capability, with a focus on innovation, AI literacy, and the development of solutions primarily aimed at HR departments in multinational environments. This is a one-year temporary contract intended to strengthen the area’s execution capacity.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower. Temporary position of one year to cover a maternity leave.

Responsibilities

Your role as Project Manager, Undergraduate Pograms will involve:
  • Lead strategic projects from design to implementation, defining scope, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Translate client needs (primarily multinational HR departments) into structured solutions.
  • Support the development of new initiatives related to leadership, talent, AI literacy, and sustainability.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders (Corporate Relations, Academic, and Operations).
  • Develop business cases and prepare executive reporting for senior management.
  • Conduct benchmarking and strategic analysis to strengthen the value proposition.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree from a ranked university is preferred.
  • Preferred academic background: Business Administration, Industrial Relations (HR-related studies), Psychology, or Economics.
  • Languages: English and Spanish mandatory; Arabic valued.
  • Location: Madrid-based, with availability for travel if required.
  • Strong end-to-end project management experience.
  • Proven ability to structure initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Mandatory experience working within HR departments of multinational organizations.
  • Experience in product definition, benchmark research, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Exposure to leadership assessments, AI literacy initiatives, sustainability assessments, or capability diagnostics is highly valued.
  • Ability to develop high-level business cases and present progress to senior management.
  • Experience supporting partnership development and formalizing agreements is a plus.
