The following position is to join RTX Corporate:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in operational workforce planning process implementation, maturity, and execution, with demonstrated expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing workforce planning capabilities across the enterprise by establishing robust processes and frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management and consulting skills to lead complex, end-to-end implementations and ensure RTX has world-class talent in the right place at the right time with the right skills.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budget, and timeline.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workforce planning processes, integrate with financial and operational strategies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish and manage program governance, including project plans, business case development, milestones, risk assessments in partnership with the HR technology team
  • Provide guidance and facilitate important decisions and activity completions with working teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of Workday Adaptive Planning across the organization.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, ensuring that deliverables meet organizational needs and standards.
  • Support enablement and operationalization of enterprise governance, operating model, and change controls post go-live
  • Identify and develop enterprise requirements and standards along with key metrics for success and review for various leadership reviews
  • Provide regular status updates, reports, and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders to track progress, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Travel up to 10%, or as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in program or project management, with a focus on HR or financial systems implementations and business transformation.
  • Direct experience implementing an Operational Workforce Planning solution or workforce planning technology platform (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Oracle, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience executing workforce planning processes post-implementation — not solely system deployment.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Advanced Degree (MBA, MS Analytics, HR, or related field).
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and experience driving successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of workforce demand planning, capacity modeling, and labor financial alignment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
