Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include assisting department managers with critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory and executive material and ensuring results align to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities. 

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and mission driven professional to shape how teammates across Client Protection stay informed, engaged, and connected. This role focuses on employee engagement communications and day-to-day Line of Business messaging—helping teammates understand our priorities, culture, and how their work supports it all.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller, strong collaborator, and proactive partner who understands how communications can shape culture, drive clarity, and build trust and engagement across a complex organization.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Execution

  • Lead execution of engagement communications strategy that helps teammates understand priorities, feel connected to our mission, and see how their work makes an impact

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on messaging, sequencing, and channels

  • Ensure communications reinforce Client Protection culture, values, and business objectives while building connection, energy and trust across the team

Content Development & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle, from content development to delivery—continually improving how we inform and engage teammates

  • Create clear, engaging content across internal channels, including emails, intranet features, digital boards, leadership messages, resource packages, etc., ensuring adherence to Enterprise Standards and an audience-based approach

  • Leverage Copilot Integration & Adoption to enhance content efficiency, quality, and scalability

Content Delivery

  • Drive engagement and adoption of digital communication channels for our teammates including, but not limited to digital boards, newsletters, Teams/OneDrive, Flagscape, and other enterprise tools

  • Create digital board content and support digital delivery for multiple core-site locations

  • Maintain and redesign Client Protection Flagscape content to ensure relevance, clarity, and consistent user experience

  • Ensure alignment with Bank of America standards, templates, and governance requirements.

  • Deliver accurate, timely, and coordinated messaging during urgent or unexpected events

  • Partner with enterprise teams, corporate communications, HR, Academy, operations, and site leadership to ensure cohesive messaging

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor effectiveness using engagement metrics, analytics, and employee feedback

  • Use insights to refine, adjust tactics, and strengthen overall engagement impact

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of expert level MS Office skills in PowerPoint (executive-level storytelling & visuals), Excel (formulas and pivot tables), and MS Word

  • 2+ years of demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams to desired outcomes

  • 2+ years of experience delivering engagement programs or project management

  • Proven experience developing and executing content for diverse audiences—frontline, leadership, and horizontal partners

  • Ability to work seamlessly within small, dedicated team—building strong relationships, collaborating closely, and contributing reliably to shared goals

  • Familiarity with communication governance, brand standards, templates, and approval processes

  • Aptitude for translating complex topics into clear, actionable content and messages

  • Ability to drive enterprise and Line of Business priorities through effective messaging and storytelling

  • Early adopter of MS Copilot with clear understanding of how to write moderate to advanced prompts

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, employee engagement, project/program management, or related fields

  • Experience managing digital communication channels (newsletters, Flagscape, digital boards etc.)

  • Experience with enterprise platforms and communication publishing tools

  • Expertise in managing SharePoint sites, content management and analytics

    Pay range

    $78,000.00 - $112,200.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

    Discretionary incentive eligible

    This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
