Job Description:


This job is responsible for supporting programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include assisting department managers with critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory and executive material and ensuring results align to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities. 

What You’ll Do

As the Employee Engagement Program Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of connection, inclusion, and collaboration across Client Protection teams. In this role, you will:

  • Execute Engagement Strategies: Deliver impactful programs and initiatives—from global recognition efforts to onsite activities and volunteerism—that bring our engagement vision to life.

  • Drive Impact: Lead key engagement activities such as recognition programs, site visits, volunteer events, and council initiatives, ensuring flawless execution and measurable results for diverse audiences including leadership, tenured staff, and front-line teams.

  • Champion Culture: Serve as a culture ambassador, promoting belonging and engagement aligned with Client Protection priorities.

  • Collaborate Broadly: Partner with leaders, councils, and cross-functional teams to amplify engagement and inclusion efforts across the organization.

  • Listen & Improve: Gather employee feedback, analyze engagement metrics, and recommend enhancements to continuously elevate programs.

  • Communicate Effectively: Craft clear, compelling communications and executive-level presentations that inspire participation and inform leadership.

  • Influence & Align: Build strong relationships in a matrixed environment, influence without authority, and maintain regular touchpoints with council leads and workstream owners to track commitments and deliverables.

  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Maintain risk controls, standardize tools, and deliver programs with precision and integrity.

Enterprise Responsibilities:

  • Assists with defining program controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working with key stakeholders 

  • Partners closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new change initiatives

  •  Supports the execution of defined tasks through tracking of program milestones and their statuses, developing program plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators

  • Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks and produces program reports for managers and stakeholders

  • Identifies key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform in alignment with the program objectives 

  • Works with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution

  • Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into project issues and decisions on services, builds positive relationships, asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes to challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience delivering engagement programs or project management

  • Demonstrated experience of strong collaboration and influence skills at all levels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management (samples/examples will be required)

  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and deliver against objectives

  • Comfort with basic analytics such as pulling reports, identifying trends, and turning data into actionable insights

  • A deep commitment to inclusion, equity, and creating spaces where everyone can thrive

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in internal communications, project/event management, or organizational development

  • Experience with engagement analytics, pulse surveys, and culture assessment tools

      Pay range

      $78,000.00 - $112,200.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

      Discretionary incentive eligible

      This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
