Do you love working with data, have a knack for numbers, and bring structure to complex processes? Then become part of Planqc as a People Operations Specialist (Payroll / Administration & Labor Law Focus).
In this versatile role, you will work together with our HR team to design efficient, compliant, and data-driven processes across the entire employee life cycle. You will operate with a mix of hands-on execution, analytical thinking, and a high degree of ownership-right at the heart of our organization.
Preparation and quality assurance of monthly payroll in close cooperation with internal and external partners
Creation, maintenance, and further development of dashboards, HR metrics, and management reports (e.g., headcount, budget, personnel costs)
Organization and coordination of travel and visitor logistics for national and international employees & guests (incl. accommodation, transfers, travel expense accounting)
Handling of administrative HR processes: onboarding/offboarding, contracts, certificates, digital record-keeping
Maintenance and further development of HR systems (e.g., Personio) and tools (e.g., Excel, Planner, SharePoint)
First point of contact for authorities, insurers, and tax consultants in day-to-day operations
Documentation, standardization, and continuous optimization of HR processes (incl. creation of SOPs and checklists)
Commercial training or degree with a focus on HR, business, or law
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in an operational HR role with a focus on payroll and administration
Confident use of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, visualizations) and ideally experience with Personio
Strong understanding of German labor, social security, and payroll tax regulations
High level of organizational skills, accuracy, and self-initiative
Experience in coordinating business travel and visitor logistics
Analytical mindset, structured working style, and a sense for process optimization
Strong service orientation and communication skills—even in stressful situations
Fluent in German (C1+) and English (C1), both written and spoken
Residence or willingness to relocate for regular on-site presence in Garching near Munich (at least 3 days/week on-site)
