About your role
Phase1 is Orion’s paid trainee programme designed for university students, bringing together a large and diverse group of talents from various fields every year. In addition to interesting summer jobs with meaningful projects, the programme offers a variety of events, networking opportunities with other Phase1 Trainees and Orion employees, as well as small group mentoring to support your career! In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in various HR projects, and depending on your experience and interests, you may take on project management responsibilities.

Our expectations
You are studying business, law, administrative sciences, or another similar field. You are interested in people management and see it as an appealing career path for the future.
You have good skills in both Finnish and English – we support our employees in two languages.
You are proactive and approach questions from the organization with an open and service-minded attitude. You can work both collaboratively and independently while keeping the rest of the team informed about your progress.

Our Phase1 trainees will be paid a monthly salary of €2370–2625, depending on the number of completed study credits. In addition, the Phase1 trainees are eligible to various employee benefits offered by the company.

Unit description
The People and Culture function supports Orion’s business units in reaching their objectives through a well-executed people strategy that attracts and develops talent and culture in line with Orion’s strategy. Our task is to create a consistent, inspiring employee experience and support organizational capability development globally. We execute our mission through high-quality HR services and processes with the support of world-class HR professionals.
In this Faasi1 trainee role, you will work as part of the HR Operations Finland team within our People & Culture organization. Our team develop shared people management practices and support managers in their leadership work.
