About the role:

We are seeking an experienced People Ops Manager to serve as a hands-on, individual contributor responsible for the administration, optimization, and strategic management of core people operations functions. This role owns HR systems, people analytics, compensation operations, talent onboarding, and employee benefits in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The People Ops Manager serves as the primary owner of HRIS and people operations infrastructure, translating business needs into scalable solutions, actionable analytics, and well-governed processes. This position is ideal for a senior HR operator who thrives in complexity, operates independently, and brings both technical depth and sound judgement to people operations.


We're looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university or six or more years of experience managing and architecting HRIS platforms, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success operating independently in a hands-on, individual contributor role with enterprise-level responsibility.
  • Strong experience owning and administering HRIS platforms, including configuration, reporting, data integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Advanced experience with people analytics, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of compensation operations, benefits administration, and employment-related compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes, multiple stakeholders, and competing priorities without direct staff support.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and effective communications skills.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • HRIS certification (ADP, UKG, Workday, Rippling)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification
  • HRIP certification and/or professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.)
  • Experience leading annual comp cycles and benefits renewals
