Job Summary: 

As the People Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting
their global operations. This position entails managing end-to-end HR responsibilities with a primary focus on onboarding, changes and offboarding coordination as well assisting employees with all enquiries. Even though the role is based in Cyprus, you will be serving also their global teams located in UAE, Mauritius, UK, HK, Kenya & Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding and Induction:

  • o Coordinate end-to-end onboarding processes globally
    o Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure all necessary tools and resources are available for new hires.

  • Benefits Administration:
    o Administer and manage benefits programs

  • Document & HRIS Management:
    o Create contracts, addendums and other official letters required as per teams
    processes & local legislation needs for all locations
    o Store and maintain any hard copy files as required by local legislation
    o Regularly update and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
    to ensure accuracy and efficiency of data handling, enabling real-time access to
    employee information and support for HR decision-making.

  • Employee Support:
    o Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries globally, together with
    the rest of the People Ops team through Jira ticketing system
    o Provide essential feedback for local issues and ensure the local adaptation of
    global policies.

  • Employment Changes Processing:
    o Administer changes in employment status such as promotions, transfers, or
    terminations, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and compliantly.

  • Payroll:
    o Support in end-to-end payroll process including global payroll input & review
    when necessary & local (CY) monthly payroll submissions to authorities,
    provident fund & payroll payments to employees and relevant authorities.
    o Liaising with local authorities for payroll & tax related matters when necessary
    Migration:
    o Coordination of migration cases on the location, preparation of relevant documents & stakeholder management (agency, employees)

  • Time Off/Leave Management:
    o Efficiently manage and oversee employee leave requests and time off policies

  • Offboarding Processing:
    o Conduct offboarding processes in accordance with company policies and
    relevant legislation, ensuring a dignified exit for departing employees
    o Support and/or leading involuntary exits including advice on local legislation,
    conducting meetings

  • Ad-hoc Reporting:
    o Generate HR reports as these are requested

  • Other:
    o Manage local processes & coordination with local authorities when needed (e.g.
    social insurance) for requests of unemployment, redundancies, absences

  • Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    2-3 years experience in Human Resources, particularly in HR operations and employee onboarding.
    Strong understanding of local employment laws and statutory requirements.
    Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation and benefits

Salary from Euro 27,600 - 30,000 per annum
