The position

As a People Operations Specialist at ViCentra, you will be at the heart of our organization, helping create an exceptional employee journey from hire to retire. You’ll play a key role in nurturing our workplace culture by managing and improving all operational HR processes, from seamless onboarding to accurate payroll and responsive employee relations.

In this role, you’ll champion process improvements, drive best practices, and support the development and implementation of HR policies that help our business thrive. Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Lifecycle Management & Process Improvement: Oversee onboarding and offboarding, including orientations, documentation, and transitions. Support the development and implementation of people policies and best practices.

  • Payroll Management: Manage payroll processing via a third-party provider, ensuring accuracy, timely payments, and full compliance with local labour laws. Prepare all necessary payroll documentation and reports.

  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and people matters, ensuring adherence to Dutch labour legislation and company policies.

  • Governmental Coordination: Manage all mobility topics, from visa applications and relocations to offboarding. Act as the main internal and external contact for governmental institutions.

  • HRIS Management & Reporting: Maintain accuracy and integrity in the HRIS system. Generate reports, analyze HR metrics, and support data-driven decision making.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar people operations role within a scaling company.

  • Solid background in HR operations, payroll (local/international), employee relations, Dutch labor law, HR policies, CLA/Non-CLA, and TWV procedures.

  • Proficiency with HRIS, MS Office, and experience handling confidential information.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken); German is an asset.

  • Skilled in managing complex matters and influencing stakeholders through clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and an effective team player.

  • Available for 36 – 40 hours per week.
