Your role
The HR Employee Experience Generalist supports the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who is developing their HR career and wants to gain hands-on experience in compliance, employee documentation, HR systems, payroll support, and process improvement. Working closely with the European HR Employee Experience team, Payroll, managers, and employees, this role contributes to accurate HR administration, strong data quality, and a positive employee experience. It offers excellent exposure to operational HR processes and the opportunity to build expertise across multiple areas of HR.
It's a temporary FTE due to maternity leave.
What you'll be doing
Job Responsibilities:
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Support
- Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements
- Ensure that policies and procedures are up to date and reflect current employment legislation, including localising of global policies
- Support HR processes across the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, contract changes, probation, leave, salary changes, offboarding).
- Prepare and maintain employee documentation in line with internal policies and legislative requirements.
- Ensure employee files (electronic and paper) are complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Assist with maintaining HR policies, handbook content, and internal documentation.
Compliance & Record Keeping
- Support the team in ensuring HR processes comply with local employment legislation.
- Maintain accurate corporate records in accordance with privacy and company guidelines.
- Assist with audits and compliance checks when required.
- Monitor key dates such as probation periods, salary reviews, and leave milestones.
HR Systems & Data Accuracy
- Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems.
- Update salary changes, contractual updates, benefits, and organisational changes in a timely manner.
- Support data quality checks to ensure consistency between HR systems, payroll, and time & attendance records.
- Contribute to improving data accuracy and system usage.
Employee & Manager Support
- Provide first-level HR support to employees and managers.
- Respond to HR-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Support managers with documentation and administrative HR processes. Contribute to creating a positive employee experience.
European HR Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the European HR Employee Experience team to ensure consistent HR delivery.
- Support regional HR projects and initiatives.
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Contribute to team success through collaboration and proactive support.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
- 1+ year of experience working in an operational HR role for a multinational company or relevant experience during study
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload
- Being team player
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and able to adapt readily to changing requirements and circumstances
- People focused
- Attention to detail – ability to provide accurate information in the form of spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and letters.
- Microsoft Office to an advanced level
- Fast learner, with focus on quality
- Fluent English
Preferred
- Experience of working in a multi-site environment
- Knowledge of Czech labor code
- Experience in providing an excellent HR administration service
- Knowledge of AI, internal desire to automate what is possible
- German language is an advantage
