Company Description

Velotic is a newly formed global industrial software leader created by uniting two category‑defining portfolios—ThingWorx & Kepware (formerly PTC) and Proficy (formerly GE Vernova). With 8,000+ customers and teams across 27 countries, we help the world’s industrial producers do the right things right—every shift, every plant, every day.

We’re building our People Operations function from the ground up, and we’re looking for exceptional talent who want to shape the future of our culture, systems, and global operating model during one of the most exciting transformation moments in the industrial technology space.

Job Description

The People Operations Partner is a high-impact individual contributor responsible for executing and continuously improving global People Operations processes across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll combine operational excellence with a builder mindset—owning accurate HR transactions, partnering closely with employees and leaders, strengthening data integrity in Workday, and helping establish scalable processes and frameworks for a rapidly growing global organization.

This is a rare opportunity to influence how People Operations functions across two newly unified businesses while supporting mission-critical operations in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

Global People Operations Execution

  • Own end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, changes, promotions, transfers, leaves, compensation actions, and offboarding.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding sessions to ensure a welcoming, structured, and compliant global experience.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Payroll, Benefits, TA, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless employee lifecycle processes.
  • Support payroll inputs, audits, data validation, and benefits administration.
  • Proactively escalate risks, inconsistencies, or compliance concerns.

Employee & Manager Support

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers, delivering timely, accurate support across varied inquiries.
  • Interpret and apply policies, practices, and regional requirements using sound judgment.
  • Balance shifting priorities while maintaining exceptional service and responsiveness.
  • Identify recurring questions or friction points and translate them into scalable solutions (documentation, automations, system improvements).
  • Contribute to a structured support model including case tracking and service workflows.

HR Systems & Data Integrity

  • Execute employee lifecycle transactions within Workday and other integrated systems.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and support accurate downstream reporting.
  • Support employment verifications, document management, and record retention.
  • Participate in system testing, enhancements, and process documentation.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, global workflows, and internal playbooks across the People Ops portfolio.
  • Build and refine employee and manager self-service guidance.
  • Identify inefficiencies or control gaps and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Support implementation of new programs, policies, and organizational changes.
  • Contribute to audit readiness and operational controls in a scaling environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of People Operations, HR Operations, or HR shared services experience.
  • Hands‑on experience executing HR lifecycle transactions in Workday (strongly preferred).
  • Experience supporting multi‑country populations in high‑growth or evolving environments.
  • Familiarity with case management or structured employee inquiry models (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, data privacy, and operational rigor.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM‑CP/SCP) helpful but not required.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong ownership, accountability, and operational discipline.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • A builder mindset—thrives in evolving environments and helps create structure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving, scaling organization.
  • Professional, clear communicator with strong judgment.
  • Discretion handling sensitive employee matters.
  • Analytical, process‑oriented, and automation-focused.
  • Customer‑centric with a balanced operations-first mindset.
