Job Summary:

The People Operations Manager will play a key role in shaping and maintaining our workforce culture. This individual will work alongside the Director to develop, manage, and execute people operations strategies, support learning and development, and ensuring the delivery of efficient HR services. As a strategic partner, the People Operations Manager will foster a positive work environment aligned with the company’s mission and values.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Director to design and implement strategies that support the company’s business objectives and improve employee engagement and productivity.
  • Develop, implement and manage a new hire orientation as well as serve as a point of contact for employees' inquiries and concerns regarding the start of their employment.
  • Partner with Director and HR to manage and improve onboarding and the new hire experience.
  • Identify learning and development needs and enhance training programs that support employee growth and career advancement.
  • Partner with Director to manage and enhance the CET program to support technician success, ensuring that applications are submitted, training materials are ordered, and Technician’s are supported through each module.
  • Champion organizational culture initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Utilize data and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends and decision-making.
  • Assist in the development of pay bands and a competitive compensation structure that aligns with union pay scales.
  • Oversee the field employee uniform program, ensuring efficient inventory management, distribution, and replacement processes to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage the company's fleet operations, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, compliance, and cost-effective management to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain and oversee the ongoing operation of the safety shoe program, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with company safety objectives.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive tool purchasing program, focusing on cost-efficiency and quality assurance to meet the operational needs of the organization.
