The Opportunity 
The People Operations Generalist will be responsible for compiling and recording employee personal data, computing employees’ time worked, commissions/bonuses, and audit payroll, verifying all wages are paid correctly. Additionally, the People Operations Generalist will be responsible for being the first point of contact in their region regarding concerns, questions, employee issues and new hire communications. 
Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 annually, based on your experience. 
Schedule: Monday through Friday, in-office role. 
 
Essential Functions 
  • Reviewing time sheets, commission and bonus calculations, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies 
  • Processing paperwork for new employees and employment changes; entering employee information into the HRIS/payroll system  
  • Maintaining all paper and electronic personnel records ensuring compliance 
  • Process pay adjustments and post information to designated records 
  • Computing wages and deductions, entering data into appropriate software programs 
  • Keeping up to date record for all employee time off, including sick, vacation and other leaves of absence 
  • Sending out new hire communications to assist new hires with their transition into the company during the first 90 days 
  • Maintaining close communication with all site managers, providing support to ensure timely payroll processing 
  • Processing wage garnishments and levies 
  • Managing worker’s compensation claims for region 
  • Sorting and sending out paychecks to all locations  
  • Conducting exit interviews for voluntary terminations as requested 
  • Assisting with the initial investigation of employee issues and escalate to the People Operations leadership team as needed 
  • Building positive relationships with management and employees through coaching and high levels of collaboration. 
  • Running reports and auditing data as needed 
  • Complete monthly and quarterly Labor Statistic reporting 
  • Support with various other responsibilities including but not limited to administrative tasks and special projects 
Special Requirements and Qualifications 
  • ADP WorkForce Now experience preferred 
  • ADP Enhanced Time (Enterprise eTIME) experience preferred 
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience required  
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, ability to work independently  
  • High school diploma required 
  • ADP or payroll certification preferred
