As the People Operations Generalist, you will run the day-to-day People Operations across the U.S. and Mexico while keeping core People and company initiatives moving forward through strong ownership, execution, and follow through.

Must-haves
- Strong sense of ownership with the ability to operate independently and make sound day-to-day decisions
- Experience owning U.S. payroll and benefits operations
- Comfort managing multiple initiatives simultaneously without losing momentum
- Ability to anticipate what needs to be done and act without waiting for instruction
- Based in Boston, MA, with the ability to be in the office three days per week
Nice-to-haves
- Experience supporting Mexico payroll and benefits, or other non-U.S. payrolls
- Experience operating within a global or multi-region company
- Background in a fast-growing or scaling environment
- Strong systems mindset with experience improving or building operational processes
- Familiarity with modern HRIS and payroll platforms, particularly Rippling and Remote.com
What you’ll be doing:
- Own day-to-day People Operations for the U.S. and Mexico, acting as the primary operator across payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle execution
- Run U.S. and Mexico payroll, including terminations, bonuses, commissions, salary changes, and deductions
- Oversee benefits administration for U.S. and Mexico employees, including enrollments, changes, vendor coordination, and employee support
- Own onboarding and offboarding execution end to end for U.S. and Mexico employees
- Maintain clean, accurate People data across HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems
- Take full ownership for accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through across all People Ops execution
- Support employee relations, policy development, performance processes, and People programs
- Act as a primary point of contact for managers and employees on People Ops questions, resolving issues independently where appropriate
- Identify gaps, issues, or inefficiencies proactively and drive them to resolution
- Translate direction into executed outcomes, closing loops and keeping People and company initiatives moving forward
- Partner closely with the Director of People on large, cross-functional People and company initiatives, owning defined workstreams and follow-through
- Own the Boston office experience, including office operations, vendors, supplies, and coordination of team gatherings and local culture moments
