What You Will Be Doing
- Support the execution of people operations initiatives, implementing internal processes and systems effectively.
- Provide end-to-end support for recruitment and onboarding functions, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for new hires.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in people data management via the HRIS.
- Maintain high-functioning office facilities and ensure seamless day-to-day administration.
- Manage the timely availability of office supplies, employee tools, and logistics needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to maintain service levels and ensure employee experience is prioritized.
- Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives through planning and coordination.
- Partner with finance and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements.
- Oversee employee asset management, including insurance administration and maintenance.
- Act as a strong ambassador of AltSchool’s culture and values.
Must Have
- 2–3+ years of relevant experience in People Operations and/or Administration.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and tools.
- Demonstrated experience using HRIS and working with data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, preferably gained in a support-oriented environment.
- Experience managing vendors and external service providers.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A proactive mindset and problem-solving orientation.
- Strong coordination and event planning abilities.

- Knowledge of employee wellness and engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with workplace compliance and regulatory processes.
