We are looking for a People Operations & Employer Branding Specialist to help us build an engaging employee experience and establish Nectar Social as one of the most desirable technology companies to work for in Pakistan.
This is a hybrid role combining employer branding, employee engagement, recruitment marketing, people operations, research, and program coordination. You will work closely with the Talent and Operations leadership team in Pakistan while also collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure that local initiatives remain aligned with Nectar’s broader culture and employer brand.
The ideal candidate has experience in employer branding, marketing, communications, people operations, or employee engagement. You should be highly organized, creative, comfortable working across departments, and capable of turning ideas into structured and scalable programs.
As Nectar’s Pakistan team grows, the scope of this role will continue to expand across the employee lifecycle.
Help develop and execute Nectar Social’s employer branding strategy for Pakistan.
Build awareness of Nectar as a leading technology employer within the local talent market.
Create content highlighting Nectar’s culture, employees, office environment, events, career opportunities, and employee experiences.
Coordinate employee stories, team spotlights, workplace content, recruitment campaigns, and behind-the-scenes content.
Work with internal design, marketing, talent, and leadership teams to maintain consistent employer brand messaging.
Support content planning for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, university communities, and recruitment channels.
Maintain an employer branding calendar covering recruitment campaigns, employee milestones, events, and company announcements.
Gather photographs, videos, testimonials, and employee stories that can be used across employer branding channels.
Support recruitment campaigns for priority roles across Pakistan.
Conduct research and gather data on the local talent market, competitor hiring practices, compensation trends, benefits, and employer branding strategies.
Benchmark Nectar’s employee experience and talent programs against leading technology companies in Pakistan.
Assist with sourcing research, candidate market mapping, talent data collection, and recruitment reporting when required.
Help plan recruitment drives, open houses, networking events, university partnerships, and campus hiring initiatives.
Coordinate with universities, student societies, professional communities, and external partners for future hiring campaigns.
Support the development and promotion of Nectar’s employee referral program.
Create recruitment-related materials, presentations, event collateral, and candidate-facing communications.
Support the development of people programs for Nectar’s growing Pakistan team.
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including birthdays, work anniversaries, recognition moments, team celebrations, and employee milestones.
Maintain calendars and trackers for employee events, joining dates, anniversaries, recognition programs, and engagement activities.
Help create a consistent and welcoming experience for new employees from offer acceptance through onboarding.
Coordinate new joiner introductions, welcome activities, onboarding materials, office orientation, and internal announcements.
Work with the Talent and Operations team to develop a structured new joiner welcome and swag program.
Support the creation of employee recognition, appreciation, and retention initiatives.
Gather employee feedback and identify opportunities to improve the workplace experience.
Assist with people-related communications, policies, guides, surveys, and internal resources.
Help document and improve people operations processes as the Pakistan team scales.
Plan and coordinate office events, team-building activities, cultural celebrations, employee engagement sessions, and company gatherings.
Support the planning and execution of university events, career fairs, recruitment drives, and external community initiatives.
Manage event timelines, participant communication, registrations, vendors, materials, and on-site coordination.
Collaborate with the Operations team on event requirements while maintaining ownership of the employee experience and branding components.
Develop event concepts that reflect Nectar’s culture and strengthen relationships across teams.
Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives involving Talent, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering, and leadership.
Help ensure that Nectar’s Lahore office provides a professional, inclusive, and engaging employee experience.
Help develop a complete new joiner swag and welcome-kit program.
Research and recommend branded merchandise, employee gifts, onboarding materials, and recognition items.
Coordinate swag requirements for new hires, employee milestones, university events, recruitment campaigns, and company gatherings.
Help create scalable programs for work anniversaries, birthdays, employee referrals, team recognition, and special occasions.
Maintain appropriate inventory and distribution records for employer branding and employee engagement materials.
Coordinate with Operations on purchasing requirements while focusing on program design, branding, and employee experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Media, or a related field.
Approximately 2–5 years of experience in employer branding, people operations, employee engagement, recruitment marketing, communications, or a related role.
Previous experience working on branding, content, social media, internal communications, or employee engagement initiatives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to create structured programs from broad ideas and business requirements.
Strong organizational, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
Comfortable managing multiple initiatives, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to conduct benchmarking and present findings clearly.
Creative judgment and an understanding of what makes workplace and recruitment content engaging.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with local and global teams.
High attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience within a technology company, startup, recruitment agency, creative agency, or fast-growing organization would be an advantage.
Experience managing employer branding or “Life at” social media channels.
Experience organizing office events, campus activities, recruitment drives, or employee engagement programs.
Familiarity with Pakistan’s technology talent market and leading local employers.
Experience working with designers, photographers, videographers, vendors, universities, or event partners.
Basic design, content creation, photography, video editing, or social media management skills.
Experience supporting onboarding, employee recognition, referral programs, or internal communications.
Familiarity with tools such as Canva, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, or applicant tracking systems.
During the first six to twelve months, this person will be expected to:
Establish a structured employer branding and employee engagement calendar for Pakistan.
Build a consistent pipeline of employee-focused and recruitment-related content.
Develop scalable programs for new joiner swag, birthdays, work anniversaries, referrals, and employee recognition.
Create clear benchmarking reports covering compensation, benefits, workplace practices, and employer branding.
Support successful office events, university initiatives, and recruitment campaigns.
Improve coordination across Talent, Operations, Marketing, and other departments.
Strengthen Nectar Social’s visibility and reputation within Pakistan’s technology talent market.
Help create an employee experience that supports engagement, retention, and long-term organizational growth.
Help shape the culture and employer brand of a rapidly growing global technology company in Pakistan.
Build people programs from the ground up rather than inheriting rigid or outdated processes.
Work closely with local and global leadership teams.
Gain exposure across people operations, employer branding, recruitment, events, communications, and employee experience.
Take ownership of high-visibility initiatives that directly influence how employees and candidates experience Nectar Social.
Grow the scope of the role as the Pakistan organization continues to scale.
