What you can expect as our People Operations Coordinator
Under the direction of the Director of HRIS and Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the People Operations department. You will provide essential administrative and operational support across a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee support, office management, and internal communications.You are detail-oriented, proactive, and service-minded, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Compliance & recordkeeping, including management of CORI background checks for new hires and current employees
Support of new hire onboarding process
Manage and maintain People Operations’ billing and invoicing
Maintain kitchen and common office spaces for employees
First point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR processes, policies, and systems. Communicate with visitors and volunteers
Monitor and respond to department’s telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner
Support internal communications initiatives in collaboration with the Communications team.
Help organize and provide logistical support for People Operations-led events such as training, staff recognition activities, and culture-building events.
Assist Perkins Volunteer Services as required
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
1+ years of administrative, HR, or office operations experience preferred;
Strong organizational skills - pays close attention to detail
Self motivated and team oriented
Able to handle confidential information
Must be customer service focused - excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with technology skills in an office environment, including Google Suite and HR systems (Workday experience is a plus)
Hybrid work model with minimum 3 days on site.
