About
Our client is a global investment firm. This position is a maternity cover for 6-8 months starting from Dec 2024 /Jan 2025. The primary responsibility of this position would revolve around the onboarding process for employees across APAC.
Responsibilities
- HR Inquiry Management: Promptly address employee and HR client requests, offering accurate and timely solutions related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and more. Act as an escalation point for complex issues and maintain effective case management systems.
- Employee Support: Provide thoughtful and efficient HR assistance to employees and managers, ensuring alignment with company policies. Focus on delivering a top-tier employee experience throughout their entire lifecycle, utilizing insights from inquiries to enhance support services.
- Onboarding Operations: Manage the complete onboarding process for new hires and contingent workers, including communicating with stakeholders, conducting background checks, handling visa sponsorships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and completing Right to Work checks. Ensure new hires have a seamless onboarding experience, including technology readiness through the Human Capital Management system, Workday.
- Data & Transaction Management: Accurately execute HR data transactions, generate reports, and ensure precision in all related tasks.
- Knowledge Management: Contribute to the creation, review, and updating of HR-related knowledge. Collaborate with team members to clarify and validate information for accuracy and relevance.
- Policy Compliance: Implement and adhere to the company’s HR policies and business processes, while staying updated on legal requirements. Assist in developing and refining HR policies as needed.
- Process Documentation: Aid in the development and revision of business workflows, procedures, and standard operating protocols.
- Communication Support: Assist in crafting and delivering clear, impactful employee communications.
- Process Improvement: Support and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving processes by collaborating globally and across different teams.
- HR SME Collaboration: Work with HR subject matter experts on various operational tasks and projects to ensure success through their expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university
- Prior experience HR operations or Shared Services, employee/HR client inquiry case management, and/or hiring and onboarding.
- Prior experience in financial services / investment company would be an added advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and immaculate follow up.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, results driven, open to feedback and overall a collaborative colleague.
