The HR organisation of the Future will work across brands, geographies and cultures to support one global Maersk. Next to the Centers of Expertise (CoE) and the strategic HR Business Partners, the People Partnering Organisation is the largest part of the new HR organisation and the closest to our people. To enable our future HR service delivery model, we are establishing three People Partnering Hubs covering geographical regions: Bangalore, India, covering Asia Pacific; Lisbon, Portugal, covering Europe & Africa; and San José, Costa Rica, covering the Americas.
We are looking for People Advisors to join the People Advisory Services team in the regional people hub in Chengdu, China to support the transition to a new HR delivery model and global implementation of Workday and in the Asia Pacific region.
What we offer
You will be part of the team that is the first point of contact for employees and leaders, helping them solve HR queries online, on the phone or on site. Whether their issue is big or small, our people should feel cared for just the same and your role is making sure they have a great experience when they reach out to HR. You will furthermore support the delivery of the HR Cycle with administrative tasks related to onboarding, annual performance management, job moves, exit, etc.
You will join the team as we prepare to go live with Workday and will therefore be initially spending your time on supporting implementation related activities and your colleagues in the other HR delivery teams. This is also an excellent opportunity to start familiarising yourself deeply with the future processes, technology (Workday and our knowledge and case management tool) ahead of the People Hub being fully operational.

The role is based in the People Partnering Hub in Chengdu, China

Key responsibilities
You will join the People Advisory team early on as we prepare to go live with the new HR service delivery model, processes and technology. In this time, you will be spending your time on implementation related activities such as aadministrative support, technology and process testing, language translation verification, creating local SOP’s, training logistics, etc. Once the People Hub is fully operational, your role as a People Advisor will be to solve the HR-related queries of our employees and managers and make sure their interaction with HR results in a great experience.
