As the first People Ops team member you will own core HR functions — from onboarding, policies, and compliance to performance, engagement, and scaling best practices. As an early hire, you’ll partner closely with the founders and leadership team to build Reflection into a world-class place to work.
Design and implement foundational People Ops processes (onboarding, performance reviews, compensation, benefits, compliance).
Build and own Reflection’s HR infrastructure (systems, tools, documentation, policies).
Lead employee engagement initiatives, removing friction and making Reflection a top place to work.
Act as a trusted partner and advisor to the team, balancing designing a workplace that creates a world-class environment for builders.
7–10 years of progressive experience in People Ops / HR, ideally including time at a high-growth startup (Seed to Series C).
Proven track record of designing and implementing HR programs and policies at scale.
Experience building and running core HR processes (onboarding, performance, compensation, engagement).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; trusted by employees and leadership alike.
Bias toward action with an owner mentality you thrive in ambiguity and can balance strategic and tactical work.
Experience working with technical teams and researchers in AI companies.
