We’re seeking a People & Culture Specialist who brings a unique blend of HR expertise and legal acumen to our team. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration & Compliance
- Support employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions, including assistance during open enrollment periods.
- Manage annual health and welfare benefit-related filings to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and enhance the global wellness program, including evaluating and implementing competitive benefits and wellness initiatives aligned with a diverse workforce.
Recruitment, Onboarding/Offboarding & Employee Records
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities, including posting open positions, screening and scheduling candidates, processing new hire paperwork, and creating employee records in the HRIS system.
- Assist with employment verifications and respond to incoming People & Culture related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and complete employee documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our values while maintaining legal compliance. This includes drafting and reviewing employment agreements, offer letters, and separation documents with precision.
- Track regulatory requirements, and ensure our practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Culture, Engagement & Development
- Organize and facilitate training sessions, team-building activities, and culture-focused events.
- Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and promote a positive organizational culture.
Operational Excellence & Project Management
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and documentation across multiple initiatives with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Participate in People & Culture projects and initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
Confidentiality & Administrative Support
- Uphold strict confidentiality by managing sensitive employee and organizational information with integrity, discretion, and compliance with legal and company policies.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, document management, and mail handling.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum Requirements -
- 1–3 years of professional experience in a People & Culture, Human Resources, legal, or related administrative role.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage accurate documentation and sensitive information.
- Strong communication skills written and verbal.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proficient in using office software such as Excel, Outlook and other Office 365 Tools.
Preferred Qualifications -
- Familiarity with HR software such as BambooHR, Workday, and PandaDoc preferred.
- 2–4 years of paralegal experience, preferably with exposure to employment law or labor-related matters.
Physical Requirements -
- Ability to perform typical office tasks, including sitting or standing for extended periods, using a computer, communicating effectively, and occasionally lifting light items
