Summary:
The People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) plays a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with overall business objectives. Acting as a strategic partner, the PCBP collaborates with business leaders and managers to provide comprehensive HR guidance and support that enhances organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and overall performance. This position contributes to the development and execution of HR programs, initiatives, and policies that foster a positive workplace culture and drive sustainable growth by understanding the specific needs of business units. The PCBP also supports Talent Acquisition as required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains relationships with business partners to support business strategy and ensure that People & Culture policies and procedures are developed, administered, and communicated effectively and in compliance with AAA, Inc. ethics and core values.
Consults with management on strategies designed to increase morale, develop associates, influence operational efficiency, and align with organizational practices. Provides coaching to management and non-management associates and makes recommendations on learning & development programs that support business objectives.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, reducing legal risks, and ensuring multi-state regulatory compliance, and with the legal department as needed.
Manages projects related to business line organization design and development initiatives in close partnership with People & Culture leadership.
Advises managers on all facets of the performance management cycle, including counseling documents, performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
Advises on conflict management to successfully resolve issues between two or more parties. Conducts coaching sessions and supports mediations.
Maintains employee relations documentation and electronic document storage in a consistent and organized manner. Analyzes trends and metrics related to employee relations cases and makes recommendations to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Manages and resolves routine to complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations and submits findings reports. Assists in researching and responding to EEOC and other legal complaints. Manages and responds to unemployment claims.
Recommends strategies and resources to promote employee engagement and support belonging, a top workplace, and a positive employee experience. Develops, revises, and implements human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with business line requirements.
Supports Talent Acquisition efforts as needed.
Works on special projects, assists with annual budget preparation, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.

Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Human Resources management or a similar role with an emphasis on training and employee relations.
SHRM-CP or PHR designation preferred.
Hiring Range: $ 67,750 - $84,010
This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
