People & Culture Advisor | Full-Time 

Perth Corporate Office (with remote travel as required)

At Civeo, we believe our people are the heart of everything we do. As a People & Culture Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering operational HR services and strategic initiatives that support our diverse workforce across Australia.

From employee relations and performance management to policy development and compliance, you’ll ensure our people feel supported, valued, and empowered. Working closely with managers and staff, you’ll provide expert advice and implement solutions that align with our People & Culture Strategic Plan.

This role offers hybrid in office (3 days per week) and WFH (2 days per week) and will include travel to our sites.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and professional advice on workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and diversity.
• Assist with investigations and resolution of grievances and performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of strategic People & Culture initiatives.
• Review, develop, and monitor internal policies and procedures for effective HR service delivery.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with the People & Culture team on emerging trends and challenges.

 

Key Competencies & Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or similar.
• Solid experience as an HR generalist in a medium to large organization, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Sound knowledge of awards and industrial relations practices and legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

 

Skills:

• Highly developed HR management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply enterprise agreements and legislation.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Oracle HCM and Kronos desirable).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of operational OH&S requirements.
