Description

Novita is seeking a proactive and collaborative People and Culture Advisor to join our People team, covering a 12-month parental leave period. Based at our Hindmarsh office, this full-time position plays a key role in providing practical HR advice, managing employee matters and supporting leaders across the employee lifecycle.

As a People and Culture Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice and support to managers on day-to-day Human Resources issues
  • Guiding managers on employment laws, awards, agreements and company policies and procedures
  • Supporting managers though routine workplace matters and employee relations cases
  • Collaborating on incident management and facilitating the return-to-work processes
  • Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring HR policies
  • Assisting in ensuring the organisations compliance and workplace-related laws


Skills And Experiences

What you’ll bring

You’re a confident and empathetic HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You bring a solutions-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as human resources/business/psychology) or equivalent experience
  • Experience as an HR generalist, with a solid understanding of HR practices and legislation
  • Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professional standards, and a proactive approach

We’re serious about safeguarding our clients. You will be required to hold a current NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check prior to commencement. If you don’t have these, we’ll let you know how to obtain one prior to starting work with us.
