JOB OVERVIEW

The People Analytics Manager drives data-informed decision-making across the HR function by transforming people data into actionable insights. This role leads the design, development, and delivery of analytics, reporting, and predictive models that support strategic workforce planning, talent management, employee experience, and organizational performance. This role combines strong analytical expertise with business acumen and HR domain knowledge to influence leaders and optimize people outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Analytics & Insights

  • Lead analyses of employee lifecycle data (hiring, retention, turnover, performance, engagement, talent management).
  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present HR metrics clearly to stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data into insights and recommendations that support HR strategy and business goals.

Data Strategy & Governance

  • Define and maintain HR data standards, definitions, and quality checks.
  • Promote best practices in data collection, analysis, and interpretation across the People team.
  • Collaborate with IT or data engineering on data integration, privacy, security, and system architecture.

Workforce Planning & Modeling

  • Partner with business leaders to forecast staffing needs, skills gaps, and talent risks.
  • Develop models related to attrition, internal mobility, competency mapping, and productivity.
  • Support compensation and performance planning through data modeling.

Decision Support & Consultation

  • Act as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders on people trends and workforce strategy.
  • Provide scenario planning, hypothesis testing, and opportunity sizing to inform decision making.
  • Support HR initiatives with measurement frameworks and data evaluation plans.

Project Leadership

  • Drive cross-functional analytics projects from scoping through delivery.
  • Coordinate with HR Centers of Excellence (Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Talent) to align analytics priorities.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Psychology, HR Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in people analytics, HR analytics, workforce planning, or related analytics role.
  • Strong experience with analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, Excel advanced).
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights and influence at all levels.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Analytics, HR, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience in predictive analytics, machine learning, or organizational research methods.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • Experience working in agile project environments.
