We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Ops & Office Support team member to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. This entry-level role will play a vital part in supporting office coordination, HR systems administration, HR documentation, and assisting with HR/People Ops-related projects. HR Operations & Administration
Maintain accurate employee records and support data entry across internal systems
Draft internal HR documentation, including employee changes, letters, and onboarding/offboarding materials
Support coordination of onboarding and offboarding activities (e.g., first-day setup, verifications, exit logistics)
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, policies, and general HR processes
Help manage employee lifecycle transactions, including job changes, classifications, and reporting structures
Monitor action items and system alerts to ensure timely follow-through
Assist with HR compliance tasks, such as leave tracking, background checks, and training documentation
Maintain internal documentation, such as employee FAQs and People Operations playbooks
Office & Facilities Coordination
Provide logistical and administrative support for our New York office and collaborate with other office hubs as needed
Coordinate basic office management tasks such as inventory, supplies, and facility vendor communication
Assist with scheduling and coordinating team events, offsites, travel logistics, and related communications
Employee Experience & Support
Act as a point of contact for employees seeking guidance on HR programs, systems, or processes
Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and company-wide communications
Support People Ops touch points and communication workflows with both new hires and existing team members
Collaborate on improvements to internal processes, feedback loops, and resource hubs (e.g., HR wikis, toolkits)
Cross-Functional Support
Liaise with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, IT) to support people-related workflows
Provide general administrative support for HR and business operations projects as assigned
Assist with People Ops reporting
Minimum Requirements
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Clear and professional written and verbal communication
Comfort handling confidential or sensitive information
Willingness to learn new tools and systems quickly
Able to work independently while managing multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in an administrative, HR, or People Operations support role
Exposure to HRIS or internal knowledge systems (e.g., onboarding tools, ticketing systems)
Familiarity with office or facilities coordination
Interest in growing a career in HR or People Operations
Hourly Compensation: $25–$30/hour, commensurate with experience
