The Engagement Officer is a pivotal role ensuring strategic client growth and improving client experience, particularly when joining DPV Health. This position is responsible for converting potential client enquiries to new clients, meeting demands of the community and strengthening client relationships, and building DPV Health`s credibility through a positive on-boarding process.

 

You will also be responsible for:

  • Achieving positive outcomes for NDIS, MAC and other clients that access DPV Health Services
  • Ensure all NDIS/HCP clients enquiries are responded to within required timeframes
  • Work with the client and or their representative to understand goals and to develop a schedule of services in line with the NDIS plan/Home Care Package ensuring clients choice and control has been reflected
  • Undertake assessments based on client needs, NDIS plan and Home Care Package, and DPV’s ability to deliver against client’s aspirations
  • As an Engagement Officer, you will not only collaborate and work within a team but also be allocated a caseload to manage clients Care Packages
  • Demonstrates behaviours which aligned with DPV Health Values and Code of Conduct 


Skills And Experiences

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

  • Relevant Diploma or Cert IV qualifications in Community Services, Disability or Aged Care.
  • Must have Home Care Package & NDIS Sector experience
  • Knowledge of PACE and PRODA service provider portals
  • Advanced customer service skills (written and verbal) and strong negotiation skills
  • The Ability to analysis and interpret the NDIS Act, price guide and Home Care Package guidelines
  • Experience with client management software systems
  • Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

 

The fine print

  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), hold a valid WWCC & NDIS Clearance.
  • Full driver license and travel between sites required.
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • COVID-19 Vaccinated
