The National HR Director, Care Center Operations is a pivotal leadership role responsible for aligning HR initiatives with the operational and strategic goals of healthcare clinics across multiple markets, including the establishment of a strong identity and culture for this burgeoning vertical. Reporting to AVP, Human Resources, this individual serves as a primary point of contact for HR due diligence in practice acquisitions and oversees the execution of the HR function for all Privia-owned practices.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee HR leaders providing services to independent practices, including some instances of direct supervision and dotted line matrices
Lead the HR function to close best practice gaps, create efficiencies for scale, and harmonize policies and vendors and manage HR-related audits for incoming entities
Manage the HR onboarding process for all new practices and large-scale clinical acquisitions
Conduct ongoing evaluation of HR service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory adherence
Serve as the primary POC for Business Development (BD) HR Due Diligence for practice acquisitions, including evaluating financial models for labor, employee training, and compliance costs during the deal evaluation process
Oversee Office Managers in owned practices to execute day-to-day HR functions and serve as a strategic conduit for workforce management and change management
Collaborate on compensation strategies to ensure they are competitive and equitable; provide guidance on incentive programs and oversee benefits administration for employed clinical groups
Ensure clinical HR compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, etc.) across all locations where Privia employs clinical professionals and maintain accurate record-keeping to mitigate organizational risk
Coach clinic leaders on effective people management and lead teams through the Career Committee and performance review processes
Partner with Sales and Recruiting teams to expand HR service offerings to new and existing practices

Experience: 10+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years in progressive HR leadership.
Industry Knowledge: Minimum of 3+ years in a multi-site healthcare environment with a deep understanding of clinic operations and clinical staffing models.
Technical Skills: Experience with HRIS (Workday preferred), strong project management skills and Google Enterprise preferred.
Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP minimum strongly preferred.
Travel: Ability to travel regularly (approximately 15%) to various clinic locations.
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs).This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
