You will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts while shaping innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent across multiple functions. Acting as a strategic partner to hiring leaders, you will help build strong talent pipelines, enhance candidate experience, and strengthen employer branding in a highly specialized industry. The position combines hands-on recruiting execution with strategic advisory responsibilities, requiring both operational rigor and creative talent acquisition thinking. You will also contribute to process improvements, recruitment analytics, and enterprise-wide hiring initiatives. Accountabilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies using digital channels, networking, and industry engagement
- Ensure a strong and consistent candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-up
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define talent needs and provide strategic recruitment guidance
- Support employer branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice in the biotech space
- Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to improve hiring effectiveness and decision-making
- Lead recruitment-related projects such as process improvements, system enhancements, and strategic hiring initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Contribute to building long-term talent pipelines aligned with organizational growth needs
Requirements:
- Minimum 6+ years of in-house recruiting experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry
- Strong experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles and functions
- Proven ability to build and execute sourcing strategies that attract high-quality talent
- Experience partnering with hiring managers in a consultative and collaborative capacity
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday or similar HRIS platforms
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong stakeholder influence capability
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong attention to detail with a data-driven approach to recruiting decisions
- Willingness to travel up to 10–30% and work in a hybrid onsite environment in San Diego
