Manager, People Operations Description

Our client is looking for a Manager, People Operations to join their team in Santa Clara, CA. Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will own and develop critical People and HR Operations functions. In your first weeks/months you will work to map the current state of people/HR operations and will develop a roadmap that will help to close gaps and add structure to onboarding, data, workflows, and compliance. Your manager will rely on you to lean in, operate independently, and make decisions with minimal oversight. Manager, People Operations Responsibilities

•    Manage and develop team of direct reports
•    Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle operations
•    Lead and own People and HR operations initiatives 
•    Partner cross-functionally to streamline workflows and align with business goals
•    Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency
•    Drive process improvements and scalable systems to support hyper-growth
•    Maintain accurate HRIS data; track and analyze data to help drive continuous improvement
•    Expand upon HRIS system use and capabilities within the system to drive process automation 
•    Ensure policies are in place and followed and that there’s appropriate documentation 
•    Track HR compliance deadlines; ensure requirements are met
•    Ensure compliance with I-9s and background checks

Manager, People Operations Qualifications

•    10+ years of HR experience required
•    5+ years of HR Operations experience required
•    3+ years of people management experience required
•    HRIS experience required
•    Startup experience required (200 to 5,000 employees)
