The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our HR Business Partner team. This role provides hands-on exposure to core HR operations, employee lifecycle management, employee relations, engagement initiatives, and strategic HR projects. It is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in HR Business Partnering.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining an internal employee database
- Supporting the onboarding and welcome processes for new joiners
- Coordinating and tracking performance evaluation processes and maintaining trackers
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to collect and verify data and initiating employee data changes
- Updating and filing internal documents
- Assisting HRBPs with employee grievances, investigations, reports, and documentation
- Supporting the end-to-end maternity leave process, including benefits, insurance, and return-to-work coordination
- Coordinating recognition nominations and releasing digital rewards
- Assisting in organizing divisional engagement events and HRBP special projects
- Engaging in other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (fully or partially completed) from a recognized local or foreign university or an equivalent qualification
- A professional qualification in Human Resource Management (fully or partially completed) will be an added advantage
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- An organized and highly detail-oriented personality
- Must be capable of prioritizing work in a dynamic environment, whilst driving tasks through to completion
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to take ownership of and ensure a high level of quality in all assigned tasks, while working on strict deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- Prior experience in the HR field will be an added advantage
