Job Description

We are seeking a strategic Regional HR Director for Europe & Africa to join our team in Berlin or Dormagen, Germany (or in one of our European sites like Liverpool/UK, Märsta/Stockholm, Caleppio/Italy . This key leadership role will drive our human resources initiatives across eight countries, shaping the future of our organization's most valuable asset – our people.

  • Funictionally lead and mentor a team of HR professionals across multiple countries, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Drive talent acquisition, development, and people review / succession to ensure a robust pipeline of high-performing employees
  • Oversee performance management processes, promoting a high-performance culture throughout the regions including target setting
  • Oversee annual salary review in the countries
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness
  • Utilize HR analytics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to enhance employee experience and organizational performance, being a valued member of the global HR team 

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; M
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a proven track record in managing HR operations across multiple countries 
  • Strong expertise in HR state of the art practices 
  • Exceptional people management and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, talent acquisition, and people development
  • Proficiency in HR analytics, reporting, and HRIS systems
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more additional European or African languages is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Europe and Africa
