The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the full employee engagement and culture experience within the Human Resources Department. This position oversees employee-focused initiatives ranging from fun, morale-boosting events to professional development opportunities, ensuring that engagement efforts align with organizational values and strategic goals.
To be successful, the Human Resources Generalist must have excellent communication skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and embody the mission and core values of the organization. This role partners closely with the Director of Human Resources and administration to champion organizational culture, support the rollout of core values throughout the year, and enhance the overall employee experience.
The Human Resources Generalist manages the daily functions of the department, including employee engagement programming, training and development coordination, internal communications, and administrative support. This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including a one-hour lunch break, unless otherwise assigned.

Physical Requirements
This position is primarily office-based and requires the ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing computer and administrative work. The role requires regular use of hands for typing, handling documents, and operating standard office equipment. Occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, or lifting items up to 10 pounds may be required.
Clear verbal communication and active listening are essential for interacting with employees, conducting meetings, and delivering information. The position also requires sufficient visual ability to read documents, view computer screens, and observe general office surroundings.
Work is performed in a typical business office environment with moderate noise levels and no expected exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
