The Opportunity

Verint is seeking an experienced Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide HRBP leadership for our Israel site of approximately 150-200 employees. This role serves as the primary HR leader for the location, partnering closely with the site leader as well as global functional leaders, primarily in R&D, as well as other global support functions.

This is a hands‑on role for a seasoned HR leader with deep expertise in Israel labor law and employment practices, strong judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization while reporting into an Americas‑based leader.

 



Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Serve as the senior HR advisor for the Israel site, partnering with local and global leaders to translate business strategy into effective people plans.
  • Operate as the primary HR leader for the location, aligning site priorities with Verint’s global people philosophy while ensuring local relevance and execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on organization design, workforce planning, performance management, retention, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Coach managers on effective leadership, feedback, and performance differentiation within a high‑performance R&D environment.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and global HR COEs to support hiring, onboarding, internal mobility, and succession planning for the site.
  • Partner with global Total Rewards and Finance stakeholders to support annual compensation processes and rewards practices, ensuring compliance with local requirements and alignment to global frameworks.
  • Lead change management for site and global initiatives, providing communications and leader guidance to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Lead all employee relations activities for Israel, including investigations, performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and separations, ensuring timely and consistent documentation and decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with Israel labor laws and employment practices, including notice requirements, severance, benefits, and statutory obligations.
  • Partner closely with Legal to manage complex or sensitive employee matters and mitigate risk.
  • Ensure global HR programs (performance, rewards, engagement, compliance, change initiatives) are effectively localized, implemented, and sustained.
  • Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across engagement, turnover, performance, and capability development; recommend and drive action plans.
  • Operate effectively in a global HRBP model, coordinating with Americas, APAC, and EMEA stakeholders while representing Israel-specific needs and context.
  • Act as a strong cultural bridge between Israel teams and global leadership.
  • Serve as the company’s Appointed Officer for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment, in accordance with Israeli law, including oversight of policy implementation, employee education, and handling of related matters.
  • Own and shape the local employee experience in Israel, including engagement, culture, and community presence, while advancing the company’s social responsibility commitments and strengthening the local employer brand.

 



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HRBP or HR Director responsibility for a country or regional population.
  • Deep, hands‑on expertise in Israel employment law, HR practices, and local market norms (required).
  • Proven experience supporting R&D or technology organizations in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
  • Sound judgment and comfort managing complexity and ambiguity.
  • Background in a global SaaS, technology, or product‑led organization.
  • Fluent Hebrew and English required
