Human Resources Director
As the Director of Human Resources at Special School District (SSD), you will lead the systems and strategies that shape how the District recruits, hires, and supports its workforce. In this role, you will oversee daily human resources operations, guide talent acquisition across all staff groups, and ensure hiring processes are consistent, efficient, and aligned to District expectations. Your leadership will support strong onboarding experiences, clear communication with hiring administrators, and the development of practices that attract and retain a high-quality workforce.
You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with federal and state employment requirements, supporting policy development, and managing data that informs staffing decisions across the District. Through partnerships with schools, universities, and external organizations, you will strengthen recruitment pipelines and support internal growth opportunities for staff. Your work will also include direction of certification processes, employee evaluations, and reporting, ensuring the District maintains accurate systems and high standards in all aspects of human resources.
