We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR strategy, strengthen organizational capability, ensure compliance, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.

As our Human Resources Director, you will oversee the firm's people strategy while ensuring compliance with U.S. employment standards and supporting our growing operations in Mexico.

You'll partner directly with executive leadership to build scalable HR systems, strengthen leadership capability, drive organizational effectiveness, and ensure our workforce is prepared to support continued business growth.

What You'll Do

Strategic Human Resources Leadership

  • Develop and execute the firm's people strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Lead succession planning, talent strategies, and organizational capability development.
  • Identify people-related risks and develop proactive business solutions.

Leadership Development & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and department leaders.
  • Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Develop leadership programs that strengthen accountability and management capability.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives that support growth and operational excellence.

Talent Management & Employee Experience

  • Oversee learning and development, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and values-driven culture.
  • Lead employee engagement, retention, and organizational health initiatives.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment.

Compliance & HR Governance

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. employment regulations and company policies supporting our U.S. operations.
  • Oversee HR policies, investigations, audits, documentation, and internal controls.
  • Support compliance with Mexican labor regulations for local operations.
  • Develop governance frameworks that minimize risk and promote consistency across the organization.

HR Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and develop the Human Resources team.
  • Establish service standards, HR metrics, and scalable operational processes.
  • Improve HR systems, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Operations and executive leadership to support continued organizational growth.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including senior HR leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based organizations from Mexico.
  • Experience within professional services, legal services, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic business initiatives.
  • Outstanding leadership, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Guadalajara or Tijuana.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or international organizations.
  • Knowledge of Mexican labor law.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent.
  • Experience leading HR transformation, organizational development, or culture initiatives.
