Human Resources Director

Location: Barranquilla, Colombia (On-site)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (U.S. summer) / 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (U.S. winter)

At Venture Global Solutions, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Director to lead and enhance our human resources operations. As an essential member of our leadership team, you will ensure that our HR practices align with the company’s goals, maintain compliance with Colombian labor laws, and provide strategic support to the company’s leadership. You will play a key role in shaping the company’s culture, fostering a positive work environment, and driving initiatives that maximize employee engagement, performance, and retention. This position requires an individual with a high level of professionalism, leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with top-level executives.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications in HR are a plus.
  
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a fast-paced, growing company.
  
• English proficiency: B2-C1 (mandatory). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and employees.
  
• Knowledge of Colombian Labor Laws: In-depth understanding of Colombian labor regulations, employee rights, contracts, and termination processes.
  
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, inspire, and develop a team of HR professionals, as well as collaborate with senior leadership to achieve organizational goals.
  
• Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle sensitive or complex employee issues with discretion and professionalism.
  
• HR Systems: Familiarity with HR software and tools (HRIS, Payroll Systems, etc.) to manage employee data and streamline HR processes.
  
• Strategic Vision: The ability to align HR initiatives with overall business goals, driving organizational success through effective talent management.
