The Human Resources and Engagement Specialist will be a key player in shaping our company culture and creating outstanding employee experience. You'll be a passionate advocate for our values, working collaboratively with leadership and teams to design and implement strategies that boost employee engagement, morale, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Company Culture: Act as a passionate advocate for our company culture, ensuring it is reflected in all aspects of the workplace.
- Employee Engagement: Collaborate with HR and other departments to develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, increase team member morale, satisfaction, and retention.
- Onboarding Support: Welcome new employees, introduce them to our culture, values, and workplace expectations, and help them integrate into the company.
- Culture Initiatives: Plan, organize, and execute culture-building activities and events, such as team-building exercises, workshops, and employee recognition programs.
- Feedback and Communication: Serve as a liaison between employees and management, collecting feedback, addressing concerns, and facilitating effective communication.
- Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance and support to employees, helping them navigate challenges and fostering a sense of belonging within the organization.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring that our workplace is equitable and inclusive for all employees.
- Wellness Programs: Collaborate with HR to develop wellness programs that prioritize employee health and well-being.
- Employee Recognition: Implement and manage employee recognition programs to acknowledge and reward outstanding contributions and achievements.
- Cultural Integration: Assist in the integration of cultural aspects into performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with our core values.
- Educational Initiatives: Work alongside with the training department to organize training sessions and workshops that reinforce our culture, ethics, and core values.
- HR Collaboration: Work closely with the HR department to support various HR tasks, including collaborating on recruiting efforts, performance evaluations, and other HR tasks assigned
Experience and Education Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Experience: At least 3-5 years of proven experience in HR, with a focus on employee engagement, culture development, or a related role.
· Skills:
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
o Proficiency with Google Workspace, Canva, and PowerPoint.
o Ability to work collaboratively and positively influence others.
o Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills.
o Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
· Personal Attributes:
o A genuine passion for creating a positive workplace culture.
o Knowledge of employee engagement theories and metrics.
· Preferred:
o We're looking for someone who is bilingual in English and Spanish, though this is not a requirement.
o Experience in the property management or real estate industry would be a great asset.
o PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification is a nice-to-have.
