About the Role
We're seeking a self-driven HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be the
sole HR function, reporting directly to the Director. This role requires someone
who deeply understands the unique challenges of remote work culture and can
build scalable HR processes while managing end-to-end recruitment across
diverse functions including Engineering, Management, Design, and Product.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Own the complete recruitment lifecycle across Engineering, Management,
Design, and Product domain
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define job
descriptions, and align on candidate profiles
- Source, screen, and conduct initial interviews with candidates through
multiple channels
- Coordinate interview schedules and ensure a positive candidate experience
throughout the hiring journey
- Strategize creative hiring solutions independently
- Manage hiring pipelines using ATS tools (Keka, Zoho) or structured systems
like Google Sheets
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Handle day-to-day HR operations including attendance, leave management,
and employee queries
- Design and execute seamless onboarding and offboarding processes for a
fully remote setup
- Create, refine, and document HR policies from scratch or adapt existing
frameworks as needed
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain organized HR records and
documentation
- Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Take initiative in planning and executing employee engagement activities
(bi-weekly virtual coffee sessions, monthly recognition/awards programs,
team-building exercises, etc.)
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve employee satisfaction and
remote work culture
- Act as a bridge between employees and management to foster open
communication and team cohesion
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
- 4-5 years of HR experience with significant exposure to talent acquisition
and HR operations
- Proven experience working in a remote/distributed team setup – you
understand the nuances and challenges of remote HR management
- Strong recruitment experience hiring for technical and non-technical roles
- Familiarity with ATS tools like Keka, Zoho, or ability to manage structured
hiring pipelines
- Experience creating or refining HR policies and documentation
