Department Overview
We are a department dedicated to HR for the mobile-related business, a key focus area within Rakuten Group. Our team of approximately 60 HR professionals provides comprehensive support across all HR functions, including talent management, recruitment, training and development, performance evaluation, labor relations, and HR Business Partnering (HRBP).
Working in close collaboration with Rakuten Group headquarters, we are in an environment where we can provide end-to-end support, from investigating and analyzing HR challenges specific to the unique workplace environment of the mobile business (considering the mobile market, store operations, and global development environment and talent composition), to planning and implementing solutions, managing operations, and facilitating workplace communication.

Position Details
We are planning to assign successful candidates to one of the following two departments, depending on their aptitude
1. Organizational and Talent Development Group
You will be responsible for all aspects of talent development and organizational development that accelerate the growth of our organization.
Talent Development Planning and Execution- Planning, operating, measuring the effectiveness of, and improving various training programs, such as new employee training, layered training, and selective training.
Organizational Development- Conducting and analyzing organizational surveys, identifying issues, and planning and supporting the execution of improvement measures.
Talent Management- Supporting the operation of the performance appraisal system, career development support, and succession planning.
Other-Promoting English language proficiency, enhancing Japanese language skills, and planning and executing measures to vitalize internal communication.
2. RTS HRBP Group
As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be responsible for planning and executing HR strategies to achieve the business goals of a specific business division. Specifically, you will lead the entire range of HR functions, from identifying challenges within the business division, including:
Strategic HR- Planning and executing organizational design, talent development, recruitment planning, performance and compensation systems, and talent management.
Organizational and Talent Development- Supporting the improvement of organizational performance, employee capability development, and engagement.
Recruitment- Planning and supporting the execution of strategies for acquiring outstanding talent.
HR Systems- Operating and improving HR systems, labor management, and ensuring compliance.
Work Environment
Mobile & RTS HR Department (Total)- Approximately 60 members Organizational and Talent Development Group-Approximately 3 members
RTS HRBP Group- Approximately 8 members
Mandatory Qualifications:
‐ 2+ years of HR experience
- Basic Office software skills
- Business-level Japanese proficiency

Strong communication skills that facilitate teamwork and collaboration with other departments.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and new challenges.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in organizational development, talent development, and talent management.
- Ability to analyze problems and propose/implement effective solutions.
- Experience working collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds, including different nationalities, religions, and genders.
- Experience as a training instructor or facilitator.
- Business communication skills in English.

TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, or a university degree or higher from an English-speaking country).
Proof of qualification is required by the time of the offer letter.
If you do not have a score or certificate, we will arrange for you to take a TOEIC IP test organized by our company during the selection process.
